How to apply for the test

You must complete an IELTS Application form, attach 2 recent passport-size photographs (taken in the last three months) and present your original passport (a certified copy is not acceptable) when registering.

Numbers for each test are limited. You may need to register for the test weeks or months before you need your results. However, the Centre maintains a waiting list for each test which allows a small number of candidates to obtain an earlier test date by taking the place of candidates absent on the test day.

• All applications should be made five weeks before the test.
• All transfers or notice of cancellation must be received by our office five weeks before the actual test.
• No refund will be made unless five weeks notice is given, except where evidence of serious illness is provided to support the postponement or cancellation.
