What is in the ILC?

The ILC provides access to a wide range of materials that support English language learning activities in the ILC. These include books, magazines, newspapers, software, audio/video cassettes, CD's and DVD's. Most of the collection is available for loan to CME and Macquarie University students.

IELTS materials

The ILC maintains a current collection of IELTS materials. These are only for use in the ILC. University students and non-Macquarie University  users may also make arrangements to access the collection.

Software

Several language learning software packages are networked on the ILC computers for student use, while others are available as CD-ROMs. These include:

Audio / Visual Materials

Watching documentaries and movies and listening to CDs can be an entertaining way of learning English in the ILC.
